CIFTI Training Program on FSSR
Bangalore, Karnataka
Confederation of Indian Chambers of Food Trade & Industry (CIFTI), a food wing of FICCI organized a one-day workshop on "Food Safety & Standards Regulations: Building Awareness" on August17, 2012 at Auditorium of Hindustan Unilever Limited, Research Centre, No 64, Main Road, Whitefield, Bangalore - 560066, India. The workshop was attended by more than 100 delegates representing industry (especially SMEs), FDA officials.
The workshop was designed to build capacity and augment understanding of FSOs, Dos, Public Analysits and FBOs on new rules and regulations viz Food Safety & Standards (Licensing & Registration) Regulations, Risk Assessment, Labeling and claims and Indian Food Code.
The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Anjum Parwez, Food Safety Commissioner Karnataka. Dr. A welcomed all the delegates and presented a brief on the status of current Food Industry regulations. Read More >>
CIFTI Workshop on 'Food Industry Regulations' Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Third workshop in the CIFTI series for augmenting understanding on ‘Food Industry Regulations’ was organized on 9th August, 2012 at The Pride Hotel, Ahmadabad, Gujarat. About 40 delegates participated in the event.
Mr. H. G. Koshia, Food Safety Commissioner, FDA Gujarat inaugurated the workshop.
